I ordered penne a la vodka for takeout. It was absolutely delicious and I'm picky about this dish. Highly recommended!
We just ordered the Grilled Chicken Alfredo Pie on a square and it's just unbelievable!!! The dough is tasty and airy. The sauce, spinach and chicken are cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definitely one of the best pizzas in Brooklyn
Pretty damn good pizza. They've come along way from what I recall. Pretty sure they're using Michael's sauce from across the street in their pizzas.
I've ordered delivery a few times in the past. Always good! Walked in for a quick slice. I got the margherita slice with anchovies added and it was perfect. My sister got a regular slice with anchovies. She enjoyed hers as well. The crust and sauce were so good and the saltiness of the anchovies was not overbearing whatsoever. The staff were also really nice and I definitely recommend coming here!
It's been a minute since I've had New York pizza in New York, so happy that these recipes never ever ever change, I mean why would they. When you say Uber and all those other pick up services lining up to pick up orders you know it's got to be good.
I'm an Emergency Room nurse at Mount Sinai Brooklyn, and this pizzeria donates pies to our Emergency Department all the time. I've gotten the chance to try nearly all of their specialty pies as well as regular slices. I'm going to echo what another yelper wrote- their vodka sauce is unbelievable. I had a vodka slice the other day, and though I'm usually a plain or pepperoni slice kind of guy, I got completely hooked. Their regular and barbecue slices are pretty delicious as well. Obviously during night shift we don't always get to eat the pizza fresh when it gets busy, but it's worth noting that something about the way these pizzas make them HIGHLY reheatable. In the microwave for a minute, and they don't get soggy or gross. Still delicious. Thank you for keeping us going!
Good pizza. It was ready when we got there. Speciality slices are ~$5 each - can't complain because they're huge! My favorite was the slice with chicken and some sort of spinach dip on it.
Ive had margherita pizza that was too chewy and margherita pizza that was too much so it fell apart. The only good margherita pizza ive has was from Grimaldi in dumbo and from this place. It tasted similar to Grimaldi's coal fired brick oven margherita pizza. I was surprisingly satisfied. I didn't expect much since this place had three stars. The margherita pizza was light and thin, but not too thin. It had just enough favoring. I would highly suggest it!!! I also got the garlic knots special. It had SO MUCH marinara sauce, the taste reminded me of meatballs and i'm not fond of meatballs. The bread was soft of course. There was a layer of mozzarella cheese on top. I'm not a fan but there's nothing specifically to criticize it for. It's just a matter of preferences. I should've just gotten the regular garlic knots. I would give this place a five but the delivery guy from the pizzeria pulled up on my drive way and literally spit outside my house when he came out of the car. There is a pandemic going on and doing that right before you give me my delivery doesn't seem very sanitary. It's just coronavirus outdoor etiquette, come on now. No wonder they have 5 non critical health inspection violations.
